This unique blue barn immediately stands apart from those of similar homesteads tucked into the surrounding countryside. The vast majority of Wayne County's barns follow the more traditional white or red color scheme. Admiring the care that went into the frame decorating this window, one wonders whether the makers of the new aluminum barns slowly infiltrating the region will choose to include such "non-pragmatic" aesthetic flourishes. The window slats are in need of repair and the paint is chipping, giving hope that this particular barn's rebellious blue streak will continue.
