I represent the Coopersville Farm Museum in Downtown Coopersville Michigan. We have a beautiful 1 year old facility here that is available for receptions, meetings, etc. We have been booking wedding receptions as we offer the rural feeling many are looking for, but with a very polished and light look to it. We have a great set-up for caterers or do-it-yourself-cooks. Call or e-mail me or LeeAnn for further information. Rates are VERY reasonable as the purpose of the museum is preservation of this heritage. (616)997-8555.

Hi, My wife Betty and myself Just finished restoring a 1890 barn. it is 36 X 84 we renailed every thing and put 7/16 O.S.B. board over the roof boards and then put painted white steel on the roof. On the sides we put painted red steel after renailing all the old boards the old boards were in too bad of condition to do any thing else but cover them. I used about 150 lbs of three inch twist gal.nails and 50lbs. of 8 comon gal nails a good share of the nails were rusted off. This barn is on my farm in Delaware Twp. Sanilac County. It has a

I live in NE Ohio in Trumbull County. I have been relocating & restoring old buildings on my property. I do anything from out houses, to granaries, to small barns. The highlight of my property is a restored 1872 Post Office I saved from being transformed into a chicken coop. We give tours & history lessons, free of charge. I just wanted to mention that I am always considering other buildings to relocate & restore. Thanks for a great website.

What a plesant website for us Barn folk, great job! I am writing from our new home, a renovated barn in the Monashee Mountains of British Columbia. Having stood up to sixty or so years (no one seems very sure how many)of BC snow we decided that it was worthy of housing more than cats, rats and old memories and decided to renovate it. This took us two years of aching muscles, joints and blisters but we made it in on Christmas Eve 2001. take a look at our pics at www.redbarnlodge.com I have calculated that this barn has had about 1800 feet of snow on the roof since in was erected! Role on winter.

My wife Betty and myself restored a 114 year old barn this past summer. We started to work on the barn May 14, 2002 and stoped work November 1, 2002 The barn is owned by our family the last 50 years. It is now done in red and white painted steel. We think it is now good for 50 more years.
