Grandpa’s Treasure certainly refers to the energetic attractive children in a rural setting,
but it could also be the autumn Illinois landscape, the bounty of grain
from a field of golden cornstalks and the solid symbolism of the enduring
red barn. These
pages of color photographs and accompanying text captures the joy and imagination
of children, and the distant memories of adults.
